The Looking Glass Theatre can be rented for performances, rehearsals, readings, special events and filming.
It is a 60-seat, black box theatre with a stage that is 22' wide,
15' deep and 17' high.
There are two dressing rooms to accommodate approx. 10 - 14 actors.
Seating includes red, plastic, non-fixed seats on fixed risers.
Sound system includes a PA with two powerful house speakers and a CD player.
Approximately 25 lighting instruments available for use, 12-15 included in rentals and space grants (subject to change)..
There are two separate bathroom facilities and a large sink available for use.
There is minimal storage space available for your props and some small set pieces.
We require rentals to provide your own liability insurance, and proof of this coverage must be delivered before the first day of rental.
For rentals, a security deposit is required (minimum $500).
NOTE: We do NOT have air conditioning! Therefore, our summer rates are negotiable.
HOURS AND PRICES
Performances:
$200 per performance: Monday-Wednesday, 6:30-10:30pm (any 4-hr window)
$225 per performance: Thursday or Sunday 6:30-10:30pm (any 4-hr window)*
$250 per performance: Friday or Saturday 6:30-10:30pm (any 4-hr window)
Rehearsals/Load-Ins:
Weekdays: $100 for the day (as early as 7am until 5:45pm)
Weekday Evenings: $200 from 6-11pm
Saturday mornings: $20/hour before 12pm
Saturday afternoon/evenings: $200 from 12-5:45pm, $200 from 6-11pm
($450 for entire day on Saturday)
Sunday afternoons/evenings: $200 from 1*-6pm, $200 from 6-11pm
* Theatre not available before 1pm on Sundays!
Dates will NEVER be held or reserved until contract is signed and first payment is received!
